Critical thinking

Sadly I have to report that it is too late to sign up for Britain's first atheistic youth camp - all twenty-four places have already been taken.

Camp Quest UK ' is the first residential summer camp for the children of atheists, agnostics, humanists, freethinkers and all those who embrace a naturalistic rather than supernatural world view.'

The picture shows a bunch of joyful freethinkers in action.

Atheism is not compulsory but parents are warned on the Camp Quest website: 'we adopt a critical, scientific approach as opposed to a “faith-based” approach.'

Perhaps just a little bit more critical thinking is needed in that last sentence.

I am interested that there is an inherent slight towards all those shallow, closed-minded bigoted camps that run a 'faith-based' programme. Obviously only 24 young people in our country this summer are really being taught to think critically and freely.
I should think this would be of grave concern to the government and education department?
